Our local Amvets Post 61 came and celebrated Flag Day with our residents here at Rockville Nursing and Rehab on June 14th. They brought a couple different of their Amvet vehicles and raised a new American Flag in our courtyard in honor of Flag Day. We also invited family and friends to enjoy in a cook out outside. To celebrate July 4th, at Bloomington Nursing and Rehab, we invited our Residents and their loved ones to come in for an old fashioned family night. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and served potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw. For dessert we had homemade banana pudding, fresh watermelon, and berry trifle.
