A Birthday Wish Becomes Reality

In June of 2012, life became unrecognizable for Victoria “Crystal” Adams.  At the young age of 57, Crystal suffered a massive stroke that left her entire right side paralyzed.  She could no longer work, live on her own, or do simple every-day tasks such as walking, brushing her teeth and hair, or getting dressed by herself.  Crystal’s speech was so mumbled that many around her could not underst

Vincent Named IMG Superstar for May!

This person exemplifies the definition of Superstar! Vince started nursing after his first career in the military ended. Vince was one of our heroes in the war on Iraq.  He served his country protecting the rights and liberties of others from 2005 through 2009 as a truck driver/explosive expert in Iraq.

Rockville Celebrates Flag Day

Our local Amvets Post 61 came and celebrated Flag Day with our residents here at Rockville Nursing and Rehab on June 14th.  They brought a couple different of their Amvet vehicles and raised a new American Flag in our courtyard in honor of Flag Day.    We also invited family and friends to enjoy in a cook out outside.  The weather

Family Night at Bloomington Nursing and Rehab

To celebrate July 4th, at Bloomington Nursing and Rehab, we invited our Residents and their loved ones to come in for an old fashioned family night. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and served potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw. For dessert we had homemade banana pudding, fresh watermelon, and berry trifle.
