Cloverleaf's Irish Pub for Ireland!

Cloverleaf Health Care has been cruising around the world this week.  On Tuesday, they stopped at Ireland.  Staff and residents got to see what an Irish Pub is like.  They participated in an Irish drinking game.  They had one minute and fifteen seconds to see how many nonalcoholic beers they could drink!  The residents and the staff had a blast





Things That NEVER Go Out of Style

There are some things that never go out of style…like the flamingo glasses that Nurse Christy (in the photo) is wearing, hulu hoops, tropical flowers in your hair, luau’s and many other things.  Enjoying life, having fun and “living the Aloha spirit” never goes out of style either at Zearing Health Care Center.





Pampering for National Nursing Home Week

Today for National Nursing Home Week at Grinnell Health Care Center, we had a "spa morning". We made homemade hand lotion with the residents all participating in making it. We then soaked and massaged our Residents hands with the homemade lotion.  The ladies then were treated to manicures. The "Spa" was a hit!





A Day of Pampering at Colonial!

On Sunday, the residents of Colonial Nursing and Rehab were treated to a full day of love.  In the morning, country crooner, Steve Lydell performed.  The ladies of Colonial picked the brunch menu, then a tea social was held.  We decked out the halls in lavenders and soft yellows.  Fine China was set out wit





Embracing the Aloha Spirit

On Tuesday, the Residents of Woodland Manor truly embraced the “Aloha Spirit” by participating in a wide variety of Hawaiian themed events.  What would “Living the Hawaii Life” be without water?  Our Residents had a blast at the pool today thanks to The Elkhart Youth and Community Center
